Hi , I received a voucher by email for £5. Yesterday I changed my username and I tried to use the voucher code on a purchase and I think that may be the reason that it will not accept the voucher code. Would that be right? Is there any way I can use the voucher now with a different username. I didnt realise it would affect the use of the voucher. The message comes up as follows ' Looks like that's the wrong code. Please double-check and try again'. Thanks - Maria.

I imagine it's because you're in Ireland, and Ireland uses the Euro.

So I have to wonder why Ebay would send you a voucher in £sterling. I've never received a voucher by email, so are you sure it was a genuine Ebay email...? It could be a phishing email, so if you clicked on any links, change all your passwords, and check your device for malware.

Hi, I dont think it would make any difference if I am in Ireland to be honest. The items I am buying are from the UK . Its an actual coupon they sent me by email and it seems legitimate. Thank you for your help
