advice please

purchased a pair of Rayban sunglasses which I was fully aware were in used condition, the advert stated........................

"Excellent condition

These sunglasses are still available on Ran Ban’s website

Gunmetal grey with silver reflective lens"

when they arrived I was on my way out so I only briefly checked them, like an idiot I left positive feedback later in the day without a further check. The following day I decided to clean them so I could use them, on a closer inspection the right lense has a crack where a screw holds the lense in, I don't think it will be long before the lens drops out. I checked the photos of the glasses and there at the end is a photo of the damaged lens, however it isn't noticeable really untill you zoom in on it.

Now I know I've been slack in not inspecting these properly, however surely the seller cannot get away in describing these as excellent condition when they're clearly not, and he clearly knew they were not because he's included a photo, all be it in a sneaky way.

Do I put this down to tough luck as I failed to inspect them fully when they arrived, or is it worth opening a case? I contacted the seller a while ago about it but naturally they've not responded.

not sure if I'm allowed to show the item but here is the number, see what you think?

Simple solution.

Open a money back guarantee with eBay.

Not as described.

The seller will be required to send you a return pre paid label for you to print out.

Send them back and get your refund.

There is no need to send messages to your seller, and don't put up with excuses and stories from your seller

The fact that you left Feedback will make no difference, you can still make a Not As Described Case to get a full refund.
