Item not recieved and cannot open case

In the early half of april, i made an order from a seller from hong kong.( I made several orders from around the world on that day)

I knew the package would be delayed, so i waited, and surely enough some of my other packets were arriving one by one, so i thought i would leave it as covid-19 had lead to major delays in delivery. However, it has been 4 months and my item shows no sign of arriving! (I have purchases other items from hongkong at a similar time and they are here a month ago). Ebay will not let me open a case, as it has been 4 months, but the seller told me to wait because of covid-19 delays. What should i do?

Ebay can't help you now. You have 30 days from the delivery estimate in which to open an Ebay case, and not a minute longer. So you're not caught out in future, read Ebay's 30-day Money Back Guarantee (on every listing, and in various other places across the site).

The good news is that you have 180 days from purchase date in which to open a case in PayPal. Follow the instructions to the letter.

Open a not received case in Paypal. Escalate after 2 days but before 20. Hope this helps. You have 180 days to open a case in Paypal.
