nearest first mode does not work when searching...very annoying and i am sure it used to work fine

and whilst we are on subjects when i wish to search for an item in the u.k only why do the chinese listings come up also,and within those u.k only searches half of them eventually turn out to be chinese sellers masquerading as u.k sellers

ebay expects us to follow certain codes and guidelines so i think it only fair they follow suit and run the site with similar goals

so that we only need browse that which the search heading purports to and not their askewed or unmonitored interpretation

Yes, it's missing from most basic search results now. You have to use Advanced Search and reduce the location distance.

With the Chinese sellers it can happen if there are not many of the item you're looking for in the UK so ebay "helpfully" adds in some overseas ones.
