Closing a return request

I opened a return a return request and was offered a partial refund which I refused. The seller has now given me by mutual agreement an increased refund, this has been paid into my PayPal account. I now want to close the case but cannot, there is no option to to do this? Is this because I refused the offer initially? Never come across this before.

Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Thereis noprovision for partial refunds, it is all or nothing once a case has been opened.

Asfar as the seller is concerned you could still get a full refund as the money is frozen and any refund he has made is outside the case.

Have you gone to the case in the RESOLUTION CENTRE, there should be the option to close, as your refusal of a partial refund has nothing to do with the case, as I say within the case it is all or nothing.

Thanks. He offered a partial refund via the resolution centre, I declined, he offered a higher amount outside the case whichever I accepted and he has paid. There is no option to close the case for some reason. In the past there was always this at any stage
