cant login despite keep changing password

Hi, I am close to deleting my ebay account. Every time I enter password am told its wrong. I change password and login. Next time I login same happens and I have to change password. Am I the only one or are ebay just being bloody awkward for some reason. thanks

If you can't log in you can't change password except by using "Forgotten Password". Are you doing this?

Hi, Many thanks. Yes I am having to use "forgotten password" but next time I login with new password it tells me it is wrong so I start over again by changing it.

Run a full virus scan.
If wireless check about how to be sure you are not being hacked.(Google Youtube)
Numbers are universal no upper lower case problems.
Stick with lower or upper case letters only.
Count the dots that appear when you enter password if you also use numbers as the num lock may not be on so it is not inputting numbers.
Check doesnt go to us version of keyboard as @ and other keys change in us version.

Hi, I have changed my password yet again and this is being accepted by ebay uk but when I try to loin to ebay spain or ebay germany it tells me my password is wrong. Getting **bleep** off with this. any ideas please

Hi, Many thank for all the info. I have again changed my password and ebay uk opens without a problem. However I needed to go onto ebay spain and ebay germany where new password rejected by both.
I have run a full scan and everything was clear. I have a vpn which is always on spain when I log into ebay uk.
New password lower case with two digits at the end. No other symbols of any kind. I am puzzled.

Same problem yet again. account put on hold but no idea why.Keep changing password and each time it says its wrong. Want to phone ebay and perhaps speak to someone who resembles a human. cant use their free 0800 number as out of country at present. Any ideas please

Hi, I was about to do the same after days of being caught in a loop of changing passwords and clearing my system and using different search engines.

I changedMy password and then My user name and guess what its worked. I dont know why and I dont care as long as it works .

I have lost sales because of this and blame EBAY as it never happened before so why dont they leave things that are working alone. The saying if its not broken don't fix it comes to mind.

Dont worry about your positive feedback etc as this is all trnsfered to you new account details.
