Charity Raffle for Signed Footy Shirts

Hi All, Well after the response I received on my previous topic I would like to tell you about our Charity Raffle. I am involved in a very embarrassing Charity event this Friday for two local Cancer Services here in Donegal. The Donegal Hospice & The Letterkenny Oncology Unit mean an awful lot to our family and every year we like to do our bit to help. Well this year our event is a little different. We are running online auctions and raffles also. I have 3 shirts available for raffle. The raffle tickets are priced at 2 euro each and you can purchase your tickets using paypal. We also have auctions running at present on our website. You can view by going to the Donate tab on the site and pressing the LIVE auction button. Many items on offer there. The shirts I will be offering for raffle are a Celtic shirt, which will be signed and dedicated to the winner by Celtic Lisbon lion Legend Billy McNeill, a Rangers Shirt which again will be dedicated to the winner by Rangers Legend and current Manager Ally McCoist and lastly a Shirt from one of Paul McGraths ex clubs or Ireland signed and dedicated by Paul. The winner can choose teams shirt. I would like to thank Brian at Captains Armband for helping with Ally. So to purchase your ticket, go to the donate tab on the website goinggirly4charity then add a dot and com after name (not sure if eBay allows u's to mention websites?). Put the amount in you want to donate for tickets i.e. 6 euro buys 3 tickets etc. Once you get to confirming donation click on Additional Information and tell u's what shirt you want to be in the draw for. If you are buying multiple tickets then mention if all tickets are for same shirt etc. Thank You all for your Support. I truely hope some of you can help and are successful. The Draw will take place Monday evening at 8pm.

Sorry i am confused having a blonde momment how do i get too the site too purchase tickets as i would love to win the McCoist shirt . And being that i always donate too cancer charity this is a very good cause so can you guide me too the right place too purchase tickets?

Thank guys the support. You can purchase tickets by going to the charity website. Which is. goinggirly4charity then add a dot (.) followed by com. Then go to the donate page. Sorry for the weird way of saying web address but I believe eBay do not allow u's to promote non eBay websites. Thanks again

When you get to the website, click the Donate Here link at the top, then click the donate here paypal button. Just add a note to your paypal payment saying which shirt you want your ticket or tickets to be for.

I've also bid on one of the live auctions - some nice items available if you have not looked, and all for a great cause.

Hi All,

I have been struggling with online time so I must appoligise.

Firstly I am very sorry to report that our charity site and our auction site was hacked and caused us all sorts of problems. Thankfully we seem to have everything sorted now.

Due to the problems we have had, donators have been unable to purchase tickets for our raffles. So we have had to put off the draw until next Friday. I'm very sorry for any disappointment.

Due to the problems I have agreed to add 2nd prizes of signed photos to all the draws.

I hope you all understand and I wish all very generous entrants great luck. Thanks for your support and please feel free to purchase more tickets.

Hi Again All,

Firstly I would like to thank all the forum members who donated and supported our charity fundraising. It is very much appreciated.

Our charity raffle took place on Friday night. With our original problems of our website being hacked our original date had to be put back, but in light of the problems I donated a few signed photos for second prize items. I'm not sure who are members of this forum and who are not, but the is at least 2 prize winners from this great forum included.

Winners are as follows:

Runner Up (Signed Danny Wallace Man Utd 10x8): Alex Cook
