Autograph Course

I hope that you all read my mail on the next autograph course.

I still have some places available, and this course i believe is especialy suitable for those of you who collect vai eBay or TTM as it covers Autopens, printed signatures etc in depth.

I am always surprised when i speak with collectors at shows etc, and discover that they think they know what an autopen is, until i show them one! Or i show them two signatures, one real on printed and ask them which is which and they can't tell me, or get it wrong!

Although its a course aimed at the dealer, it still works for collectors, and indeed, can give you an insight into dealers thinking!

If you are even mildly serious about autographs, then this course will set you straght on so many things, and is guaranteed to increase your knowledge and save you money.

Apologies, i have had a few calls re the course, and to confirm, the course is indeed open to non members of AFTAL (ie other dealers or collectors) and the cost of the course is £99 inc full course notes and lunch, tea/coffee etc.

Hi Garry. Do you have any idea when you will next be running an authentication course in the south of the country? I think it is a must for anyone who collects autographs via ttm or purchased routes, not just dealers. I am definitely interested. Cheers. Nigel

I would love to run more of these all over the country, but it all comes down to numbers. I need 15 or more to make it work and pay its way, and only get close to that kind of number by getting dealers along.

I do expect to run another course at the Autographica show in London in October, and that too will be on the Friday, but i also expect many of those places to be taken up by dealers, so it may be hard to fit collectrs in.

I also hope to run a short 'taster' 45 minute seesion or so during Sat and Sun. This will give you an idea of what you can learn and how it can help your collecting.

I know i am trying to sell the course, but it really is money well spent. It has taken me years to learn what i know now (and i am still learning!), and you can have the benefit of all that knowledge for just the price of a few signed photos! Garry
