This is definitely a glitch on the iOS eBay app because as a buyer this message shows up frequently even when trying to make a purchase of physical goods from a seller in my own country (the U.K.)

I see the “this shop has no inventory in my area” banner when I go to look at the sellers inventory, sometimes I can only see a few items and other times no items at all.

Buying and selling is what eBay is all about so you would think something as serious as this would have been sorted out straight away but for me it has been going on for months and has prevented me from making many purchases. I’m sure it would be a different story if eBay could be sued for loss of earnings by the businesses losing out on sales and it would have been fixed ASAP.

What with this and the the other debacle of having to own a credit card as the only means of proving your age I’m just about done with eBay, the old adage of “not being able to hold a p#ss up in a brewery” seems very apt to me right now.
