Unable to list items from ebay app

Anyone else in the uk having this problem when trying to list items from the ebay app? Never had this before until today. I usually list all my items from the app but today ive been getting the error "your listing looks great so far, but a detour is required for items in this category "

If I try to list a mobile phone it works but when I try to list car parts then it shows the error. As something changed with ebay?

This seems like it might be to do with the car parts category.

@06holmesh customer support have logged a ticket with tech for your account for it to be checked. Are you able to provide a screenshot showing the detour message from your account so we can add this to the ticket?

Hi sorry I cant seem to access that im simply replying through my email
Im on a mobile so that may be the problem

As kat@ebay has explained there is a current issue with that category many are experiencing this , you are not alone.

Kat will report back on this thread with any news of a fix on this matter.

At the bottom of this page click on ' Additional options' , after you make a post, then tick the box >>> email me when someone replies. You will be notified if there have been any updates.

Still got the problem. I list each day but now its taking up more time to list items. I find the app so much faster to list items 😩

I understand the frustration with getting this resolved but I don't have a further update at the moment. We don't get timelines on the fixes. The soonest I have further information I will post back.

Yep, getting the same message trying to list in vehicle parts and accessories. Same when I try to revise any current listings, it wants me to divert to the web browser which is a really slow way of listing.

My listing time is near double now with this problem. The app is so much faster to list items.
