It seems that promoted listings % doesn't come down... It seems arbitrary rather than real.. By the time you pay all the fees and advertising/Promo there seems nothing left for the seller. Should not eBay consider lowering their charges as the products can be made available at a lower rate to the customer? Currently, its eBay who seems laughing all the way to the Bank..

You are correct, at the moment eBay UK is testing a system where Promotions are arbitrary, they are unrelated to sales or halo sales.

Each business in a different position. We have to look at our options and what works for us individually. The boards here are great for seeing what others are thinking. What alternatives do you have?
