Sold item in feb2021 , but didn’t receive payment into my account despite email on 25/2/2021 saying “status paid”

how can I resolve as there is nothing showing in my account as I may had to create another account afterwards but can’t see the history of this

can anybody help

After 5 years, I doubt there will be anything Ebay can do. I don't think you will be able to find details on your account for a sale from 2021.

Have you still got the email? Was it definitely from Ebay?

What action did you take at the time to get your funds?

How were you being paid? I was still getting ebay sale payments by PayPal until May 2021.

And for a sideboard was it cash on collection?

It wasn’t cash as I recall, I have emails from the event and screen shots of eBay at the time.
as suggested by “…blossom” I don’t get a call, but they just referred me into my eBay account via payments who hbsoae t show anything

I’ve emailed buyer to see if they have any records

I understand it’s vey unlikely I will get my money but what a greaves me is if the buyer says they’ve paid eBay then then technically they still have my money

How did you normally receive payments from ebay at the time i.e. for other items? E.g. I checked a sale from 4 Feb 2021 paid by PayPal and the PayPal email receipt has the ebay item number in.

(I had a quick look in ebay and paypal and couldn't see a way to view orders so old.)
