Purchasing a large collection

i have been offered a large collection of models through Ebay, but I need to contact the buyer to find exactly what he has and how I sort out the ones I need. The seller has asked for my tel no or email, but under Ebay regs I cant supply this, so I miss out on buying a large collection of models.

eBay block messages containing contact details prior to online payment. So you'd have to buy them first and the seller issue a cancellation later if necessary. But you can message the seller through ebay as much as you like to sort out what you want.

Sorry that doesn't work, however after talking to Ebay, they suggested sending a written message with tel nu and email account which Ive done.

eBay told you to send the seller a message with your contact details BEFORE purchase!!
Something was very lost in translation here, as that is very much against eBay's rules, and can lead to suspension of your and your seller's account.

I hope you have kept the transcript of that conversation with CS if this was a chat, as you may well need it later, and that agent could well be sent back for re training !
