In theory it might be OK but not if you chose the wrong size altogether. It could end up being returned or the buyer being charged extra.

I stupidly decided to give simple delivery a go, I have always used custom. The item I listed sold, but when i go for the label, the parcel size is wrong, it says I can change the parcel dimensions, but there is not an option for the size I need. I thought it was SIMPLE, obviously not. Any idea how to get the size I need? I did mistakenly use simple delivery before by accident, but then I just paid for my own postage, I was told if I didn't use the SD label the buyer would be refunded, they never were.

If you normally have access to custom postage then cancel the transaction with the buyer's agreement and relist with your own postage for them to buy again.

It's all a bit of a faff. It's going via Royal Mail, they do the option I need, but eBay don't list that option for some reason. Could I just send it anyway even though the size is wrong?
