You do have No returns on your listings but that only applies to change of mind returns and “does not fit” is classed as change of mind.

If however you had stated size and it was marked as size 7 then buyer should have opened a not as described case which you have to accept, and supply a return label.

If this should apply, then buyer could contact ebay to see if they change the return case, but there is no reason why you should not accept it yourself.

Feedback is of course up to buyer and you might find it worthwhile to have ”returns accepted” on listings, as that can save problems before they happen, and feedback is of course based on how the seller deals with any problems.

Feedback is only affected by what f/b the buyer leaves for you. There is nothing automatic about it.

"Doesn't fit" is classed as change of mind which private sellers can refuse. If buyer is saying it is a fault of the description they would normally use "Not as described" which all sellers have to accept.

As long as the buyer does not have to escalate it to ebay (which they can only do 4 days after starting the claim) it will have no affect on your account. If they do end up having to escalate a "Not as described" return the seller may get a defect on their account. That is different to feedback though.

Thank you. Just to clarify if I decline the return. I would still receive the money and customer keeps goods. And as it is because does not fit buyer cannot be negative

Sent from Outlook for iOS<>

That is correct if a case for item does not fit is opened you can decline it.

If a case for item not as described is opened, one for Item Does Not Match Description or Photos, this you have to accept, refund within 3 days, or pay for a tracked return postage for the return of the item, then you have 48 hours to fully refund on its return.

The buyer can leave you a negative. Obviously, if they bought an item and it didn't fit, they would feel their experience was negative.

You would be able to ask Ebay to remove the negative in some circumstances but there is no guarantee they would do this.

With so few sales, a negative would affect your percentage so, if you are worried, why not simply accept the return.

You can ask the buyer to pay for the tracked label to send the dress back.
