Possibly misleading listing.

Hi, If a seller uses a slightly different image to the actual item in a listing could that be grounds for a return even though they say no returns accepted.

Photos need to be of the thing for sale so that would be grounds for an item not as described return.

No returns on a listing is only for changes of mind.

eBay allows sellers to copy and use any other seller's photos, so there's no guarantee that any listing here will depict the actual item for sale.

The photo forms part of the description and if an item is not as described the buyer can use eBay's money back guarantee. eBay will generally take the buyer's word against the seller's for this. "No returns accepted" means nothing when an item is not as described, only where the buyer just wants to return an item.

Thanks for the replies, I have looked at the listing again and a series of images of an item that is a different spec to the one in the listing , is used, I find if I 'zoom-in' it is possible to tell it is not of the actual item in the listing.
