Terrible Business Methods

You made me make my account a business account to sell an ebike yet no listings work because you won't accept my No return policy so cannot list anything further

Every time I submit, it defaults to say choose a returns policy, yet i have - None...!

Tried reverting to a personal account and you block that too!!!

Absolute nightmare

Nobody here blocking you as we are all members just like yourself.

However, if you needed to sell that e bike on eBay no one 'made' you switch to a business account, a Business Account was the only way to sell an e bike.

If you wish to carry on selling , that is, selling only second hand used items on eBay, you can open another Private account, as a Business account cannot be changed to a Private account.

You are allowed to own more than one account, you just need another email and another username ID.

If only ebay made it clearer BEFORE people go to business account.......

Then people used to selling second hand items and not having returns wouldn't be stumped at every new listing failing even though the policy is made, in the listing section and setup......! yet bounces back without explanation on the page!

Oh and add to the process, ebay wants further bank verification for a business usage - fine - however yet again it is NOT made clear they will block your funds or HOLD your funds for several days 'because of making it a business account'

And to follow up with that - As you say - BLOCKED from changing your mind back to personal account

YEAH - Great Business Practices right there

Nothing to do with your question, but if it's any consolation you might be able to get that neg about collection of the guitar removed. The fact that you were not available on the buyer's preferred collection date ("Why can't you can't you do Sunday, every one else can?") is not a valid reason for leaving negative feedback.

Contact customer support, but don't veave it too long.

Only authorized / pre-approved Business sellers are allowed to list eBikes /accessories etc. on eBay due to safety concerns.
