Hello,

I am a first time seller and looking to send the parcel by special delivery royal mail as i am worried it wont get there. my question is how does ebay know my item has been received buy the buyer if i do signed delivery and not the pre paid QR code ebay gives ? Sorry if this is a stupid question as i am new to all of this

As you are new it would be a good idea to spend a little time reading up on how simple delivery works.

You will see that it covers you for up to £750 for lost items or ones damaged in transit.

If you use your own label you can't add tracking and will have to wait at least 14 days for payment. The buyer will get the simple delivery postage refunded.
