If you've started a "not as described" return request you will be able to escalate it to ebay after 3 complete working days.

So when that time has passed go to the return case, click on Case Details > Respond to Case > Escalate This Case > Submit.

There is no need to reply to the seller again but you can report the messages to ebay via the three little dots at the top right of the actual message.

I've been with Ebay, both as a buyer and a seller for over 10 yrs and never been in this situation. I purchased a cheap gold ring, pictured as perfect and I wasn't expecting much. Ring did arrive, but was a strange colour and nothing like the picture at all. The seller has become extremely abusive with regards to me returning the item, even saying that the picture I sent of the item looks like I've damaged it and I haven't. I'm livid. I'm being scammed and can't seem to do anything about it. I have requested a return, but been met with various lies from the seller.
