    <description>&lt;P&gt;This is the only time you can open 2 cases for the same item,&amp;nbsp; bit not at the same time.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;So yes,&amp;nbsp; you need to close the ' item not received case'&amp;nbsp; and&amp;nbsp; proceed this way now......&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Go right of the item in your Purchase History and from More Actions select... Return this item selecting the reason Item Does Not Match Description or Photos.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The seller needs to accept this case within 3 days and refund,&amp;nbsp; if they want their item back first , they need to pay for that fully tracked return postage, then on receipt of their item they have 48 hours to refund you.&amp;nbsp; If they don't ,&amp;nbsp; need to escalate the case,&amp;nbsp; ask eBay to step in, and they'll force the refund.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Never listen to any excuse or promise from the seller to close the case early,&amp;nbsp; and do not forget to escalate.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I opened a ' item not received case'&amp;nbsp; but a package arrived 3 days later and contained the wrong item. A similar part but with a totally incompatible specification to the one pictured in the listing , which I ordered.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I can't open a return because the non arrival case is still open.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Does anyone know if cancelling the open case would still leave the option to open a second case on the same transaction for a return and refund?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;</description>
