Hi, I have just sold an item and then eBay said they needed to verify my bank details, can I allow the item to be collected before the verification is complete or will it mean I don’t get the payment? Many thanks, Abigail.

Had your bank account not been verified before you started to sell. As a new seller even after verification you will be subject to a hold on funds. Once you meet the fairly simple requirements, funds are released within 24 hours

Unless verified, you would not get paid, but unwise to delay letting buyer collect. As far as buyer is concerned they have paid, just be sure to get the code number from buyer which is the only way you have to prove delivery.
