I can offer you my experiences when selling, and what worked for me !

Keywords in the title are definitely important, eBay state the first 4 words are the most important, and the ones buyers enter, when searching for items. Using words such as Beautiful, Wonderful, in the title therefore are totally useless. Use Brand, Colour and size if applicable, a fuller description, leave to the description box, and oh, don't use AI descriptions, describe items in your own words, there is a big difference, easy to spot !

Fill in as many item specifics as you can , some are totally irrelevant so just skip those.

eBay allow 24 photos so use as many of those to show your item remembering buyers will never see the item before purchase, and photos play a very important part of the description.

Price is always a major factor, buyers can use the Best Match option and if there are many of the same items listed, will select Lowest price and reduce their choices to those listed. I certainly use that option when buying DVD's or books!

Seller Performance is very important, if you gain negative and neutral feedbacks these are all visible to potential buyers, and yes, if you have too many it would put off buyers buying from you.

Hope the above helps, and Happy Selling ! 🤗

Just wondering what experienced sellers here consider the main things that help a listing get better visibility on eBay. From your experience, what tends to matter most for search — title keywords, item specifics, price, photos, description, or seller performance?

Is there any rough priority between these, or anything that consistently helps with impressions over time? Curious to hear what people have found works in practice.
