Combined international postage

I bought 5 sets of old christmas lights from the same seller. Cost to me through ebay shipping program varies from 20 odd to 30 something for each individual, plus tax. Ebay is consolidating the 5 items on the same purchase but is adding the postage individually without any discount. The postage total ramps up to 128 Pounds plus the tax. While the individual postage is expensive it is within what normally cost me to buy from overseas. However since they are planning to send these on the same parcel, the amount being is absurd for what the size and weight of this parcel is going to be. I contacted the seller and he was unable to do anything, he got this "Invoices cannot be sent when ebay manages all or part of the postage". If seller is using GSP, add all items to basket.

You pay seller for each postage, but GSP will combine postage for you.

Seller has no control over GSP.
