Sorry but no expert on the stupid as you say Simple Delivery, but think what you could have done was cancel the Simple label and then sort out your own postage.

As I understand it opening the label would mark as dispatched, then if later buyer opened a case for not received, you would be able to add your own tracking to prove delivery.

The latest stupidity I have encountered is this: I sold a vintage bicycle frame using the Simple STUPID system, having packed it safely in a large cardboard box and been offered the largest postal category I started to deal with the despatch. I tried to access Parcelforce which was impossible and I was told my nearest posting option was our local post box which is for letters only. Fortunately I knew where the nearest Parcelforce depot was and drove there and dropped my box there with no problem. 1) Why could Parcelforce not collect it as they would if I dealt with them direct? 2) Why was I directed to post boxes when Simple delivery knew it was a large box? 3) Why can I not choose my own method of despatch. To conclude I did not try customer service as it is next to useless these days, it used to be excellent. Also in the last couple of weeks I have received e.mails from ebay saying items have been despatched when the items mentioned I had received weeks ago WHAT A MESS
