So why do the sellers and eBay fail to take issue with Evri despite the
buyers complaints. It is as though every complainant of non-delivery is
assumed to be a scammer. If I related the full history you would realise
that by complaining about an Evri driver my address has been black-listed
by Evri although we run a registered charity. My daughter had a very large
parcel delivered 3/4 of a mile away and fortunately recognised the gate.
Evri has been sent photos of our gate and parcel box and still managed to
deliver randomly although that is an improvement on insisting that the
address does not exist as they did previously. I have been a eBay member
for over 20 years and have never been treated so shoddily!

Evri

Evri delivered to a random address and I raised the problem with the seller. The seller insisted that it had been delivered to the correct address although by the delivery photo it had clearly been delivered somewhere else. I was advised to ask neighbours although I explained that I live in a rural area and the neighbours are scattered far and wide. The seller then referred it to eBay who have judged that it was delivered to the correct address and that I was not entitled to a refund. This is not the first instance of this from Evri, who, up to October last year managed to find the address and now cannot. This means that I cannot now buy anything from eBay in case it is delivered (or not) by Evri. I have requested two sellers to send by other couriers but they have said that they are contractually obliged to use Evri. Goodbye eBay, hello Amazon

The issue is with Evri, just read the news about how bad they are.

Private sellers often don't have choice of carrier, either Evri or RM, altogether they can opt out of Evri if they wish.

If tracking shows delivered, seller and ebay have to believe it or will all claim not received.

You should be able to appeal eBay's decision, there should be an option there. State again that the order has been misdelivered, and that the proof of delivery is a photo of a house that isn't yours.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/buying/returns-items-not-received-refunds-buyers/appeal-outcome-case-buyer?id=4039&st=3&pos=3&query=Appeal%20the%20outcome%20of%20a%20case%20as%20a%20buyer&intent=appeal&lucenceai=lucenceai&docId=HELP1308

If that fails, and funded the payment with a debit or credit card, issue a not received chargeback via your card provider.
