Usually when a seller sets their feedback to private, which it sounds like happened here, they can't sell.

It's possible that using a classified advert gets around this.

I would avoid that seller as it would seem they have something to hide.

I'm not suggesting anything is untoward about this, just curious. I'm looking a classified ad for a car. It gives the seller 100% feedback, 50 items sold, six hundred and something in brackets after the seller id but when you go to check feedback it says no feedback. How does that work?

The feedback shown after the seller's ID is their total feedback since joining.

The feedback considered in the "Feedback ratings" box only includes feedback received in the last 12 months. So if they haven't received any in the last year this will record zero feedback.

Incidentally, no feedback can be given or received for classifed ad sales.
