When traveling I would sometimes like to search for interesting furniture for collection, the pieces I search for are generally too large or costly for delivery. I am unable to find advertiser's close to my location because my location always defaults to my postal address even when I change it or press the location button. Is there a way to solve this?

Try using advanced search while logged out and putting the new postcode into the item location box.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/ebayadvsearch

Or if you won't let you stay logged out try clearing cookies and then searching with new postcode.

Use advanced search. Scroll down and you will find option to enter the location you require to base your search on.

Hi, strangely that worked, using the filter to change postcode, I had
already tried that and it kept defaulting to my home address, now it's
sticking, thanks.

Mike
