Hi,

Just a simple question, why does ebay stop me advertising my ebike because of safety reasons with the batteries but its okay to advertise electric mobility scooters that use similar batteries?

You need to have an eBay business account in order to list an eBike:

Products requiring business seller status

In addition to the requirements above, sellers must be a business seller to sell the following products:

Baby formula
e-bikes, new e-bike batteries, e-bike chargers, and e-bike conversion kits - Used e-bike batteries are not allowed to be sold by any seller in the UK marketplace

Only authorized Business dealers are allowed to list eBikes on eBay due to safety concerns.
