I purchased a pink cherry blossom tree picture crushed diamond 54 x 45 cm. After 11 months the glass came away from the black plastic frame held on with double sided stick on tape. The glass shattered, damaging my wood fire surround + small chip on my marble hearth. I informed e bay who replied asking for order / ID or listing number which I can’t find, I have looked in my purchased orders which for some reason is not showing up. I have sent messages + photo,s to the company I bought the picture from as I have the package box with their address attached to the label. My dispute has gone on since November 2025 with no response from this company. Has anyone had this problem with this item. Regards.

You are also too late gor payment provider.

This is between you and seller, not ebay.

I wouldn't have thought a picture should do that, it could have been quite a nasty accident under different circumstances,

I messaged this company telling them if anyone was beside where my picture
was hanging it could or would have hospitalised them.This company does not
seem to be bothered. I have sent them photo’s of the damage it has caused.
How can a heavy piece of glass be externally fitted with double sided stick
on tape. Involved Citizens advise who in turn have informed Trading
standards. As usual you cannot contact trading standards so do not know if
they have informed this company.

I do not want payment. I am trying to stop this picture being sold as it is
a danger to the public. How can a heavy glass be glued to the outside of a
plastic frame. That is how it came away from the frame.

UK consumer protection is unlikely to apply when buying from sellers in other countries.

Buying from unknown sellers on eBay is not like buying from the shops. eBay is a jungle.
