If this was the only thing wrong I could have lived with it, but I’m afraid that this person and eBay are selling something highly toxic to human beings. I left the base in distilled water overnight with a TDS reading of zero. After leaving it less than 12 hours the reading increased by over 500%. This means that micro plastics leached from the base into the water. This is a major health hazard that should be alerted to the food health and hygiene board.
