eBay offer a 30 day return policy, and if you're outside of this now they cannot get involved.

If you paid with a debit or credit card less than 120 days ago you should be able to issue a not as described chargeback with your card provider.

Defective watch

Seller has sold me a defective watch which has stopped working outside the eBay money back guarantee period. The watch is modified so the original manufacturer guarantee does not apply. I have taken the watch to a specialist and have pictures of the defects. Seller originally offered to fix the watch for an additional charge, which did not agree to. Seller is now non responsive and eBay cannot offer any support. What can I do?

It was over 120 days ago sadly. The issues only started arising after 6 months because the makeshift movement inside the watch gave way over time.

Sent from my iPhone

Just to add that what you can do may also depend upon exactly when and how you paid, the price of the watch and whether the seller is a private seller or a UK registered business seller.

I do wish that eBay would ask buyers to provide this information when asking questions.
