Removed Negative SeFeedbackller

I ordered a mouse trap but when it arrived it was useless so I asked for a refund. The seller ignored this so in the end eBay stepped in and refunded me. I left negative feedback about the seller stating what had happened. But since then I have had 2 emails from the seller asking me to change my feedback. I refused to do this but now see that my feedback has been removed from the sellers site altogether. How has this happened? I've tried contacting eBay about it but have found it impossible.

Mentioning eBay refunded can get the feedback removed.

If leaving Negative Feedback, keep it brief, Unsatisfactory Transaction, says it sll and will not be removed.

Mark down the Star Ratings that damages the seller more than a negative.

By increasing the amount of space for leaving feedback, ebay has done more harm than good, as the more said the greater chance that something said would provide an excuse for removal.
