When payment in cash on collection was allowed some sellers took this as a chance to sell the item to the buyer privately. They then invented a reason to cancel the eBay sale, evading payment of eBy's fees.</P> <P>&nbsp;</P> <P>Unsurprisingly, contact details now can't be provided until the item has been bought and paid for through eBay's checkout.
