Cannot disagree with anything you have said here. It is annoying ,and especially for busy business sellers time consuming, to have to inform their buyers where their items have ended up.

Unfortunately, some posties do not leave cards to say items are at sorting offices, so to avoid those unnecessary INR's it is necessary to answer asap to point the buyer to where their item is lying .

Why is the Ebay system set so that when a item is undeliverable due to the customer not being at home it automatically contacts the seller when an Item not received is openened, stating rhat the tracking number supplied is not valid ? The tracking number is automatically applied when using the Royal Mail "Click and Drop service. When i click on the same tracking number it clearly states the reason why it has not been delivered.so now I have to waste my time contacting the customer to explain that he was not at home when the postie attempted delivery, the reason we use "Click and Drop " is because Ebay promote using a tracking system to streamline the system. Just another example of how Ebay thinks that business sellers all have time to waste due to their system being all but useless and customers that dont read the cards that the postie leaves for a failed delivery.
