Ebay app notifications issues....android

Hi,
I've used the ebay app for years and happily reveled in that "kerching" sound when I get a sale. For the past 6 months or so I've noticed that this doesnt happen anymore unless I open up the app in which case I'm met with the notifications straight away.
This is really poor as instead of the sound alerting to a sale or question etc, I'm not aware of them unless I either log onto ebay or check my email.
Considering Ebay penalise for poor service and late postage etc I find this not only very unhelpful but also very hypocritical that their poor performance on the app leads to my poor service speed which is normally brilliant.
For reference, I have my phone software up to date, have tried clearing cache and forcing the app to stop. And still I have this issue. (And am well aware that many other users have posted about this issue!)
Ebay, when are you going to fix this issue (that wasn't an issue before?!)

Ebay is not listening as they are not here.

This is not ebay we are members like yourself

You are lucky that you have used the app happily for years

It is full of glitches and problems

Thanks....I never did I was happy with the app lol....just that the sound made me happy 😎
Seriously, its had some things which have annoyed me over the years, some resolved and some not...but for something as important as this to arise when it was never an issue before, that tops my annoyance list!

Never used the app but any sound of a sale would make me happy too.
You never know it may just right itself but dont hold your breath.
