Text messages to mobile

I am repeatedly receiving text messages to my mobile saying "Il tuo codice di sicurezza di eBay e". This is then followed by an eBay code. Already 31 calls today and, not surprisingly, annoying me. Obviously not real but anyone know what this means and how to stop them coming through?

Presuming they come from a phone number, can't you block the number? What does the message say in English? (Use Google translate).

Thanks for your response. You're right, I should be able to block the number (although it looks a legitimate one). This will stop the messages but not tell me what's/why happening and I like to understand where they got my mobile from. Unfortunately I cannot find anywhere on eBay to message about it. BTW: I've tried to translate using Google translate but it doesn't specifically translate (I'd guess from the Itallian words that it's a security issue - but what exactly?

I would be blocking the number.

It could be someonr trying to hack your account or putting in a wrong email address when trying to log into eBay Italy.....it then sends a number to access your account
