How do I permanently stop recently viewed items appearing on emails ebay send?

Anyone know how to stop seeing recently viewed items from showing up on emails sent by ebay.

This is so annoying and also makes you look rather stupid. I KNOW what I've looked at - I dont need reminding.

Need to be able to permanently remove them off the home page too. ...not good if you are looking to buy a suprise for someone who shares the home computer.

I am not sure if thsi will help but worth a try

To the account tab then Communications and choose which you want to receive and those you don’t.

My Ebay > saved searches and delete all saved searches.

Also try clearing cookies and cache by clicking on the Ctrl Shift and Delete keys on your computer

Restart your computer

Thanks for reply redwick1- but have done this already - more than once!
All the settings look to be correct to me.
I also clear out my cookies regularly.

Looking at the wider internet since posting my question, I don't appear to be the only one that this is annoying.

Lets hope something gets done about it.

My have helped if you had said that in the first place.
Have you tried the Adchoice at the bottom of the page at the very bottom
Make sure that the button is off
https://www.ebay.co.uk/adchoice

Have you tried using adblock plus which get rid of some adds but may not work for those coming up on ebay
Just google it for your browser and then upload it

Always start your computer after changes
It may or may not work and if it is a glitch then it may clear iteself eventually

You may not be able to get rid of them all together.

If you are worried about someone seeing a present then search for a few other things after buying and they may not show up

what do you mean by - "my have helped if you had said that in the first place"? - said what in the first place?

I asked about recently viewed items showing up in emails and on home page - not adverts. I wanted to know if there was possibly a solution.

When you post it helps if you tell us what you have already done.
There was no mention that you had already tried anything
I suggested what you could try
You responded only to tell me you had already done that several times.
I am not able to guess what you have already done.

Try clicking on your my ebay "Account tab" the choosing communication preferences from the left side menu and scrolling down the page to edit the relevant sections.

there is a nice way to say things though - and what you said was rude.

And it wouldn't have helped anyway as you have gone on to say about Ads after I told you I had tried what you suggested - Ads are not the problem I asked about.

Just pointing out it would be helpful if you gave more information especially when I spent time on posting and then you pointed out you had already tried that several times.
How are we supposed to guess that

We are volunteers and do not always get it right but we try to help
