I recieved a wedgewood dish from a new seller, however it had a chip out of it, he described it as no chip or cracks so I was disappointed and contacted him... can I just say at this point had he had said 'oops sorry' I would have let it go as I realised he was new, but he got quite nasty saying of I could see the crack on the photo why did i bid. but the chip can only be seen when you really blow up the photo... but again he had said no damage.. i pointed that out to him and he got stroppy telling me not to bother him again, so I requested to return the item ... we all had to learn right. he has now 'threatened' to call around as hes always in liverpool.. now being as Im a 67 year old widow and live alone im panicked. I dont want to exasperate the problem but I just want to return it. hes using bully boy taktics, i am actually worried. what do I do next peeps. do i walk away ? I dont want him thinking he can roar and get his way with other buyers. help please

Hi,

Oh dear,what an awful bully.

First of all to get your money back for your item stop communicating with him and open an item not described case in ebay.

If you follow the instructions you will receive a pre paid postage label at the expense of the seller,which ebay will instigate.

You will need to return the dish and get a refund from the seller when he recieves it back.

As for the threatening messages you should get in touch with the police if you are frightene. And report them to ebay. If this is the way he is intending to run his account he won'tlast long.

Also,add him to your blocked bidders list.
