Randomly eBay web page requests my PERSONAL CERTIFICATE on behalf of LuckyRetail.com web site???!!!

at least onece per day eBay web page pops up request for my PERSONAL security certificate. The requester is "p.luckyretail.com:443".

I am using eBay for years and this begun like week or two ago.

Any idea what could that be?

Some tricky seller? Bug in some plugin? Phishing?

Make sure you've an adblocker installed.

And scan your system for malware.

I doubt whether an ad blocker will prevent this.

It sounds like you've picked up some malware on your pc. Try installing malwarebytes anti-malware.

Adblocker installed and active for years. I scan this machine daily with AntiVirus and AntiMalware, plus it is running under restricted account with only user privileges, no admin rights here. Protected also with AntiRansomware. And btw...I am IT engineer, so I am not dumb user...although I do not exclude my stupidity and lack of attention either.

I doubt...MBAM finds nothing, neither do other scanners. Checked google Chrome settings, notifications sites, add-ons, extensions...nothing new for years.
This one must be eBay specific, as it pops up just on eBay sites.

I run Opera with inbuilt adblocker as well as adblock plus & adguard & never get anything like this....but the 3 running together never let any ads through & I have a strict popup blocker too

You'd be amazed the amount of people I've spoken to that don't even seem to realize they should have AntiVirus Installed, never mind an adblocker. Obviously you know what your talking about which makes the problem all the more puzzling.
I can't tell what browser your using but I know that eBay prefer chrome. I'm currently using it also without problem.
