Does anyone have any advice on leaving feedback after buying as a guest. I have returned curtains in August and so far not had a refund. Thanks in advance.

If you bought as a guest did you open a dispute in paypal before returning them.

That is what you should do and you should be OK still to open the dispute now as on paypal you have 180 days

You will need to phone paypal and ask them to open it

You add the tracking of the return into the dispute and as long as it says Delivered or attempted delivery you should force the refund

Could be wrong but I dont think you can leave feedback but I dare someone will put me straight on that

You can't leave feedback as there is nothing in your purchases.

You could save yourself a lot of bother by having a paypal account and adding a card or bank account. You can then pay using paypal, the purchase is in your purchases, you can leave feedback and are in complete control if you have to open any cases.

Thank you for replying. I bought the item with my credit card not through paypal. All I have is proof from post office of postage. I didn't expect the seller to refund postage but thought he would at least have refunded for the curtains returned. I wasn't able to print a return label as there was an error message kept telling me to try again so I sent them myself after advising the seller what was happening.

Were they not as described?
All payments go though paypal so it is worth phoning them but you will need the tracking of code off the Post office receipt to put into any dispute
If it was a packet then there is a 16 digit code which acts as Tracked on the receipt and you can put that in
As long as it says Delivered then you should be OK
You can check the code yourself on the Royal Mail online where is says check tracking

Unfortunately when I checked they tried to deliver twice then it was sent back to some depot. They were very poor quality and looked nothing like they looked in the picture. This is the first time I have had any problem but has put me off for life from buying anything else from ebay. The seller has actually contacted me tonight again asking the same thing he has asked about four times now about the date I paid for them. Hopefully he will find what it is he is looking for and refund me. If not I will put it down as a lesson learned. Thanks again for getting back to me.

Open the dispute by phoning paypal as said
If delivery was attempted then you may still win the dispute

If you put a return address on the item then you may get them back eventually.
It is not eba'ys fault.
You did not follow procedure as if you had then you would have your money back by now
