Click & Collect "until date"

Hi, I have a parcel waiting at Argos click and collect but I am unable to get there for a few days.
The email said it i have until the 15th to collect it.
The earliest I can get there is on the 15th in the early evening.

What I wanted to know is do they mean I can collect on the 15th and if I don't they return it after that? Or do they mean if I haven't collected it they return it on the 15th?.

Argos as you can appreciate will not be able to hold items interminably. If that is the latest date they will hold your item, then you must reach the store before closing time on that last date, or they will post the item back to the seller.

Could someone not collect the item for you?

As long as it's closing time on that date then I will be able to collect.

Unfortunately there isn't anyone who can collect as we have gone away with all family and friends who live local enough for a big birthday celebration.

Yes, I would imagine if you have received a deadline from them, go with a printout of that email, then it's logical they will hold the item till closing time on the 15th.
