Why can i no longer sell fishing reels via the GSP ?

Have sold several items already this month via GSP but can no longer list fishing reels using GSP ; it simply defaults to UK availability only

eBay advise me after checking & confirming I have listed correctly & selected GSP correctly that the fishing reels are not an item accepted for the GSP

They refused to offer an explanation stating this is not available to be disclosed

Why do you have to use GSP, can't you list and work out postage for yourself. It would certainly be cheaper for the buyer.

That doesn’t answer my question.
GSP has proven considerably less expensive for high value items (£2/300) than me shipping privately
