As far as I'm aware, eBay are only governed by themselves.<BR />It's difficult dealing with sellers from other countries. I try not to do anymore unless its a very cheap item.

I am thankful to those in the Community who empathise with my frustration and down right anger. Websites such as ebay appear to have no overseeing governing body that regulates their conduct or behaviour. It seems impossible to actually lodge a formal complaint and be heard! I have resolved my own situation by contacting the seller (in Russia), informing them that I require a refund, upsetting the buyer. Then buying the item AGAIN, then contacting the buyer to let them know. ebay was absolutely useless.

Thanks for your support. I have been able to resolve the issue I had with the Seller (in Russia). ebays advice was ill-informed and without any real merit. I had to contact the Seller, request a refund, which upset and annoyed the Seller. Then buy the same item again and contact the Seller to let them know. ebay played no part in the resolution. They are pretty useless. Are they actually governed by any recognised organisation?
