Seller charging delivery

Hi, I contacted a seller to see if lo local collection would be possible, they said yes. So I placed my bid & won. I tried for 3 days to contact this seller to arrange payment & collection. They ignored me, then yesterday it was delivered to me and now they're trying to charge me for this. I still haven't paid for the item yet, a d worried about getting a bad mark against my name. But I can't pay via PayPal because they won't 'remove the delivery charge!

Can anyone advise me on what to do Please?

I'm surprised that they delivered it to you without receiving any payment first.

Tell them that you agreed to collect the item from them after winning it, not to have it delivered at extra cost. Tell them to come and pick it up if they are unable to stick to the agreed arrangement.

Yes me too, I found it strange to be honest. I had no idea what it was untill I opened it. I will try telling them what you've advised but they seem to have trouble replying. Other than that first one to say collection was fine. I've contacted eBay about this as I'm getting annoyed with the seller now!.
