Question Re: Shipping address in Member To Member Support DO NOT DELETE

After the seller suggested that I could return an item id bought from her she sent me her address details and said I'd get a full refund.
I did this straight away sent it first class signed for.I've been following the tracking there was no one to receive the parcel when delivered and the latest updates on the tracking are stating the parcel hasn't been collected it's still at the post office.
So I've opened a returns case because I have a funny feeling about this since she hasn't been responding to my messages and to my shock she'd gave me a complete different shipping address to what ebay have on file.
I now need to get this parcel sent back to me so I can send it to the correct address on file yo get my refund. Have i been done? or can ebay step in and help me ??? I feel this womans been dishonest to me and tried to pull a fast one .

The time to open a return case is before you return the item, not after. As you failed to follow Ebay procedures it is between you and the seller.

Ebay always suggest sorting the issue out with the seller before a case is opened if you both can which I thought we were. Turns out they gave me a fake address now I've now found out thst the account holders shipping address that ebay sent me happens to be an address for a BQ store on a retail park near where the first fake address was given.I'm contacting the post office that's holding the parcel to get the parcel returned back to me then I'll be back where I started only now ebay will be involved so I can follow through the correct procedures. I wasn't to know this seller wasn't being genuine so I'm sure its only fair I get to the bottom of this for more reasons than one .
