When "drawing up" my sale item I see an EBay Fees box at the bottom of the page,, would this display any costs involved in listing the item, ie a fee for a starting price, or a Buy It Now price fee or a Gallery Fee etc...

Sometimes the fees don't seem to change if I edit my description and the charges are more than I am expecting. The box at the bottom mar say eg £ 1.00 because of a starting time etc... I am aware that sale costs are added later due to value of sale and postage costs etc..

the box should show all the fees for listing the item,

it quite often lags behind, refresh your page BEFORE clicking 'list with displayed fees' to make sure all the fees are showing.

if you later edit a live listing the original fees aren't shown as they have already been charged when the listing went live,

any fees that show after you revise are in addition to the original fees

I have been editing an item that didn't sell and re-listing it. I have accepted the £ 1 selling fees before the re-list but before the edit was completed, upon checking the fee value it is shown as £ 0 ie zero. What I am ""scared"" of happening is that a £ 100 sale is going to cost me about £ 10 or so.
Will this be a £ 1 listing or a £ 10 sale charge ??????

the final value fees are not shown on the listing form,

they are only shown when the item sells,

have you accepted the offer?

if you have the relist should be included, but to be on the safe side I would use 'sell similar' rather than 'relist'

you can check whether your listing was included in the offer by going to your seller page and scrolling to the offers at the bottom,

if it was included the offer will show one used,

Congratulations on reading the fees box. Most people asking questions take no notice and incur large fees for using expensive services which have to be paid for.

By reading this box it gives you the chance to investigate if any unexplained fees appear. Once clicked they will be charged.

upon completing a sale description and the sale final costs for the listing reads as Nil,, can I have proof of the final listing price other than printing off every listing I make,

my ebay >>> account tab >>> seller account

to see a running total of your fees.

what I mean is, for example, that my listing when making it was displayed as £ 0 ie zero but later I have been charged for Reserve Fees etc... All of this was displayed as £ 0 as I would have changed the listing a little to drop the price but you can't get much lesser than £ 0 ,, this has happened several times which is what bugs me with ebay at times. This does not include any final selling charges

reserve fees are 4% of the reserve set, are charged as soon as the listing goes live and always payable, even if the item doesn't sell,

if the fees aren't showing on the listing form maybe you aren't giving it time to update after adding the reserve,

it always pays to refresh the page to make sure every thing is showing.

if you use a reserve you will be charged a fee,

are you using the app to list?

it isn't fit for purpose,

I make a listing on a £ 1 maximum day, there is no sale, so how much (if any) will this cost me in fees,
