Question Re: NO BARCODE ON RETURN LABEL in Member To Member Support DO NOT DELETE

If you received a postage paid label via a case then this is all you need to prove delivery back to the seller as it will have a reference number that shows as delivered once it has been.

It's not a fully tracked service but it's all that's needed as far as the case is concerned.

If there is trouble with your refund you escalate the case to a claim from 8 days after opening and you will get your refund.

NO BARCODE ON RETURN LABEL

Hey

I've sent a request for a refund, where they have to pay the postage because the item wasn't as described.

The return label they sent didn't have a bar code on it. The words were:

Delivered by Royal Mail (their logo)

and then a square with a 2 inside the top half, the bottom half says ROYAL MAIL POSTAGE PAID GB and then has a code with letters and numbers.

Is this all that is needed? I thought it needed a barcode to be legit. Who pays for it?

I went to the post office and they said they can't take it, and that that type of label needs to be put in a post box. So I did this

To mark the item as dispatched it needs a tracking number - which I don't have - I just dropped it in a post box.

I'm worried that I'll never see the package or the refund again as I have no proof. Did I do the wrong thing?
