Nuisance, rude emails

I purchased a pair of shoes which turned out to be substandard quality. (rejects ? seconds ?)

The seller assured me that they were genuine but when I contacted the manufacturer I established that they were rejects.

I informed the seller and asked for a returns label etc. etc. . . . . . . .

I have since received spiteful, angry, distressing, rude messages. I would like to report this person for the behaviour which

I find unacceptable and threatening. What do I do ?

The spite, venom and anger are not necessary and totally out of order.

No way to report I am afraid.

What you should is open a Not As Described Case in the resolution centre, at the bottom of the page. If seller does not provide a return label, then after 8 days escalate to ev=bay who will at sellers expense. Seller also gets a Defect.

This is much more effective than trying to be nice to rude sellers. Make sure you follow instructions to the letter.

eBay's advice is that if the messages contain threats of violence you should report them to the Police. Failing that, just delete them.

If you have an item that's not as described justcClick on the Resolution Centre text link at the bottom of this page.

Open an eBay item not as described dispute. Escalate it after 8 days.

If your seller is a UK one, you'll get a pre-paid returns label.

Thank you. I have, in fact, done all of that and received a full refund together with instructions to "throw away the shoes".
I gave them to my local charity shop.
The problem is the ongoing vile, angry emails which I don't want or need. I suppose the only way is to delete them and ignore them. I just feel that this person needs a reprimand for the spiteful, threatening messages. Thanks again.

Thank you, too. I shall now delete all the spiteful emails and ignore the content. I just feel so saddened by this situation. A pathetic individual I suppose.

Yep, that's exactly how I'd regard them. If you sell on this account do add their eBay ID to your Blocked Bidders List too.

Thanks everyone. What a sad, miserable experience. Buying and selling on eBay should be a happy, fun experience -
which it usually is for me. This is the first NASTY experience. What happened to good, old-fashioned courtesy ?
