E bay classified add question

Hi, recently got warned from e/bay about sending a telephone contact number in a reply to a question in response to a classified ad I had placed. An interested buyer was just wanting to talk to me about the item I had advertised, I just responded to his request for my contact number! Is this not allowed, also my reply was blocked! Please advise. Regards Nigel. I do not want to break any of the conditions in error.

Yes, ebay now block phone numbers when written as numbers.

Can you please send me a Private Message with the item number of your classified ad?

Warning are not typically sent for this type of listing and you can include your contact number in the item description for members to view.
