Question Re: Post to USA in Member To Member Support DO NOT DELETE

Hi there,

The seaplane?

You have not accidentally ticked US postage. Ebay enrols sellers automatically in the Global Shipping Program for some items that it feels will do well in foreign markets. Its a daft way of doing things as like you sellers dont know what is happening as its sprung on them the first time. You can opt out for future sales or in/out for individual items at listing stage.

I'll put a link to the information below but the basics are, when the buyer pays you get the item + UK p&p that you set on the listing. You get the address of the UK forwarding hub and a unique code. You package the item and put the hub address + code on the parcel and post it there. Make sure you send it by a tracked postage suitable for the full value of the item and get a printed receipt.

The buyer pays an amount which includes your item +p&p, any US customs fees, international postage + charges for the service by pitney bowes (ebays partner). When the item arrives at the UK hub they sort the items and send it on its way. If the item goes missing or is damaged after they receive it at the hub they should be liable not you.

Hi. I have put up a listing which now has 1 UK bidder, however I have inadvertently ticked the selling abroad option, which I do not want to do as post is included for UK. I cannot revise the listing to exclude this, please help.

Regards

Sircool 1621
